Team members join a locally rooted organization with strong community ties and a commitment to sustainable growth. Role Description The Car Salesperson role is a full-time, on-site position. This role involves greeting and engaging guests, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the vehicle selection, test drive, and purchase process. The Car Salesperson will present product features and benefits, explain pricing and financing options, and ensure accurate documentation for each sale. Day-to-day responsibilities include following up with leads, maintaining relationships with existing customers, collaborating with service and finance teams, and keeping current on inventory and promotions. The role also includes contributing to a positive showroom experience and supporting dealership sales goals through consistent, ethical, and guest-focused interactions. Qualifications Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Retention, with a commitment to building long-term relationships. Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities, both verbal and written, to engage guests and collaborate with team members. Knowledge of Automotive Sales practices, including vehicle features, pricing, and basic financing concepts, or the ability to learn quickly. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site retail environment, meeting individual and team sales targets. Basic computer skills for CRM usage, email, and digital sales tools; prior experience with dealership software is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or sales training is beneficial. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to conduct test drives safely.
