Landscape Architect

_Landscape Architect_ Calimingo Pools is looking for an experienced Landscape architect to prepare site plans, section drawings and details four building permits and HOA submittals as well as job site working plan sets. You will be communicating with designers and engineers to put together the necessary information required to pull permits. You will be involved in every facet of the permit process. This includes measuring Jobsites to prepare blank site plans for the designers. Then taking the finished designs and doing all of the necessary work to prepare the project for permits. You will also be responsible for communicating with the city building departments as well as the HOA representatives in order to expedite and complete the permit process. _This position involves travel to client and project sites throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County . The ideal candidate is based in Southern California _ Responsibilities Communicate with designers and engineers to gather structural requirements and designs necessary to complete the required site plans to pull permits and obtain HOA approvals. Measure jobsites to create accurate blank site plans for designers to work with. Create detailed CAD designs including section drawings, two dimensional site plans, and structural details. Communicate with the city planning and zoning department to determine setbacks and easements prior to designs to ensure that the finished designs can actually be built. Learn our project management software and update your tasks as well as enter the project data necessary to keep the clients and supporting office staff informed of your progress on the various projects in play. Travel to the various building departments and HOA offices for meetings and permit submittals. Skills Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software Familiarity with 3D modeling tools Experience dealing with city building departments and HOA a must Artistic ability a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Work Location: On the road
