Associate Protein Chemist

Associate Protein Chemist position supporting protein generation and analytical characterization within a protein biosciences group. Responsibilities include protein purification, antibody analysis via HPLC, and laboratory support for reagent generation and biochemical assays.
Responsibilities
- Purify antibodies and protein reagents using column separation and established platform processes
- Conduct independent protein characterization analysis using HPLC and related methods
- Prepare samples, collect data, and analyze results for biochemical and biophysical assays
- Document experimental results and present findings to team
- Support general laboratory tasks for analytical chemistry operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline
- Experience in protein purification and analytical characterizations
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship
- Detail-oriented with ability to maintain precision in lab operations
- Willingness to learn new analytical techniques
Compensation: $52,000 - $57,000/yr
