Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule: Nights (1900-0730), rotating weekends. 1 12-hour call shift required per pay period.

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
• AHA ACLS and NRP are required.
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required.
• STABLE preferred.
• Previous experience in stabilization of the high-risk neonate preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide labor, delivery, and recovery care, including postpartum and newborn care.
• Perform triage and assess patient conditions in the labor and delivery setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal well-being during labor.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
