Mammography Technologist (Breast Center)

Role
Mammography Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures within a Breast Center setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures such as screening, diagnostic mammograms, biopsies, and magseed placements.
- Perform studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations.
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of imaging results.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or equivalent trade school education.
- Preferred experience with screening, diagnostic imaging, biopsies, and magseed procedures.
- Licenses/certifications such as IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
- Additional preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience, CPR, and IV therapy certification.
Additional Details
The role offers a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants and involves working Monday through Friday during department hours. The position emphasizes delivering excellent patient care and making a positive community impact.
