Exciting opportunity for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work providing psycho‑pharmacology services on the Urgent Care team in a community health center. Responsibilities: Direct patient care including evaluations and follow‑up treatment. Consultation with primary care providers and other behavioral health clinicians co‑located on the Urgent Care team. Development of team‑based workflows and interventions. Qualifications: Experience with out‑patient and after‑care of mental health patients; addiction medicine / substance abuse experience. Specific knowledge of prescribing psychiatric medications and their possible side effects, alone and with other medications. Knowledge of DSM‑IV manual for classification of mental disorders and dual diagnosis experience. MA License. DEA license. Experience working in an integrated setting.
