Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cancer Center Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hours per Shift: 11.5 Experience: Two years of Med/Surg chemotherapy infusion experience License: Client RN License, Primary Source Verification Certifications: AHA BLS, OCN/ONS certification Must-Have: Cancer Center Preceptor experience Description: The position involves providing nursing care to patients in a Cancer Center. Candidates must have experience in chemotherapy infusion. IV insertion and phlebotomy skills are required. Candidates should possess an active Client RN license. Certification in AHA BLS is necessary. The position requires the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Strong communication skills are essential for patient interactions. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks. Experience in patient education regarding chemotherapy treatments is a plus. This role will involve precepting new staff within the cancer center. Adherence to safety and infection control protocols is mandatory. Continual assessment and documentation of patient progress is expected. Participation in team meetings and collaborative care is required. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary based on patient needs.
