Paralegal - Financial Services

Experience Level: 1+ years Office Location: Albany, New York Work Schedule: In-Office, Mon-Friday, with occasional/rare overtime as needed Compensation Range: $26.44-$31.25/hour Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP’s Financial Services Practice Group is seeking a paralegal to join its team at our 80 State Street location. The Role: Reviewing credit approvals and Legal Due Diligence (LDD) to prepare consumer demand loan packages for banking clients Organizing communications between clients and attorneys regarding inquiries, follow-ups, and information requests Drafting Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Financial Statements and Amendments and preparing summaries of entities with active UCC filings according to each state's jurisdiction Tracking status of deposit account control agreements Perform administrative tasks with supporting staff Skills for Success: Very strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel Required: College Degree, paralegal certificate, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience Benefits: A generous benefit offering package including: Medical Dental 401(k) with company match and profit-sharing options Generous time off package Corporate discounts to various businesses Opportunities to support and be active in the community And more!
