We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong background in wood refinery/manufacturing environments . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems , while supporting a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing operation .

Schedule:

This facility operates in a 24/7 manufacturing environment using a rotating 12-hour shift schedule .

Candidates must be flexible and willing to work day or night shifts , including rotating days off.

Example Rotation:

Week 1

• Work: Monday – Tuesday
• Off: Wednesday – Thursday
• Work: Friday – Sunday

Week 2

• Off: Monday – Tuesday
• Work: Wednesday – Thursday
• Off: Friday – Sunday

Shift Hours:

• Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Maintain and repair wood refinery/manufacturing processing equipment
• Diagnose mechanical failures and complete corrective repairs to reduce downtime
• Repair and maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and production machinery
• Perform equipment inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Complete equipment installations, modifications, and repairs
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and lockout/tagout procedures
• Partner with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, refinery, wood processing, or similar industrial environments
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with motors, pumps, conveyors, and production equipment
• Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred (480V experience a plus)
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems preferred
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work around industrial equipment for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment with noise, heat, and moving equipment
• Ability to work overtime, weekends.
