Career Opportunities: Material Handler (32555) Requisition ID 32555 -Posted - MS Vicksburg (4197) What You'll Do: Prior to unloading, pull samples of liquid chemicals from tankers and properly label Unload and load liquid chemicals from/to railcars, tankers and storage tanks while maximizing safety, quality, and efficiency Log inventory of loads into logbooks correctly Hook pumps and hoses to storage tanks/tankers Ensure proper tank usage for formulation Ensure spills are reported in a timely manner and are cleaned up per direction given Make sure surfaces are clean and equipment is clean and in good running condition Perform housekeeping and other tasks as defined daily Ensure area is in 5S compliance; comply with plant policies and safety procedures Complete daily equipment check log on all forklifts Monitor and ensure proper tank level and hooking/unhooking of hoses/pumps Ensure all containers and materials are labeled and in their proper locations Pull samples for outbound loads What You'll Bring: High school diploma required; experience may be considered in lieu of education 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or similar work environment required Attention to detail and ability to complete accurate paperwork We are an equal opportunity employer.
