The ideal candidate brings deep experience in user experience design, consulting, facilitation, and team leadership. Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.Our Customer Strategy & Design team discovers, designs, and prototypes customer growth strategies and innovation portfolios.QualificationsRequired:Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Service Design, Graphic Design, or a similar field6+ years of experience using Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and design system libraries for user experience design, service design, product design, or digital design4+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary design teams for digital product or service delivery2+ years of experience leading design work for large-scale digital transformation programs in government or public sector environments2+ years of experience designing digital products and services aligned with accessibility standards, including Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.11+ years of experience leading stakeholder workshops, design sprints, or co-creation sessions with client teamsAbility to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Preferred:A strong design portfolio1+ years of experience translating user research into journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and service blueprints1+ years of experience supporting proposals, pursuits, or business development activities for public sector work1+ years of experience leading modernization of legacy digital platforms or service experiences1+ years of experience using Generative Artificial Intelligence tools to accelerate design workflows, support research synthesis, ideation, content development, or design iteration1+ years of experience supporting minimum viable product launches, feature releases, or maintenance releases1+ years of experience collaborating with developers, business analysts, and project managers across the product lifecycle1+ years of experience designing iOS and Android mobile applications, including work aligned to Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines1+ years of experience using motion design tools such as Adobe After Effects, Principle, or FramerFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $128,000 to $252,500.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
