Leasing Agent

Overview AMH is a leading single‑family rental and homebuilding company. The Leasing Agent is the primary sales representative, driving occupancy through consultative selling, relationship building, and lease conversion. Responsibilities Respond to and follow up on inquiries from prospective residents. Engage potential tenants and present housing options to encourage applications. Negotiate lease terms and explain lease documents to new tenants. Perform leasing activities in compliance with applicable laws to maximize occupancy. Collaborate with underwriting and leasing teams to navigate applicants through the leasing journey. Stay informed about company policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum three years of related sales or customer‑facing sales experience. Leasing, real estate, or property management experience preferred. Valid State Real Estate License required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) required. Outstanding communication and analytical skills. Ability to build relationships, organize tasks, and deliver top‑notch customer service. Compensation Hourly pay range: $21.09 to $25.30. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
