Part-Time Nanny Manager – West Ridge, Chicago

A family in West Ridge is seeking a dependable, patient, and proactive Nanny Manager to support their household and two school-age children, ages 9 and 7. The ideal candidate will have a calm, gentle demeanor while also being kind and firm when needed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with school-age children and can confidently balance childcare with household management responsibilities.

Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week
Ideal Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 2:00 PM–7:00 PM
Flexibility: Family is flexible on the days of the week for the right candidate
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $33–$35/hour, DOE
Position: Long-term temporary, with the possibility of becoming a long-term position for the right candidate
Parking: Provided

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide attentive and age-appropriate care for two children, ages 9 and 7
• Pick up and drive children to after-school activities and commitments
• Prepare meals and snacks as needed
• Family meal prep
• Children’s and household laundry
• Dishes and general kitchen clean-up
• Maintain tidy and organized common areas
• Run family and household errands
• Help keep the afternoon and evening routine running smoothly
• Occasionally provide evening or weekend support, when mutually agreed upon

Ideal Candidate:

• Calm, gentle, and patient, including during stressful or busy moments
• Kind and nurturing while comfortable setting and maintaining appropriate boundaries
• Dependable, organized, and able to take initiative
• Experienced and confident working with school-age children
• Strong driving record and comfortable transporting children
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle for job-related driving; mileage/reimbursement will be provided
• Comfortable working in a home with a dog; no pet care is required
• Interested in building a positive, trusting relationship with the children and family
