Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 School Year

Occupational Therapist Position

This is a full-time occupational therapist position for the 2026-2027 school year in the Caesar Rodney School District. Caesar Rodney School District is a grade K-12 district with approximately 8200 students.

Qualifications: Candidate must meet state of Delaware licensure and certification requirements for occupational therapist. The state of Delaware may recognize a current occupational therapist license in another jurisdiction as a means of eligibility.

Salary: In accordance with the state of Delaware and local salary schedules, with an additional $5,000 added to salary, based on experience and degree. A salary supplement is also available for candidates holding and maintaining an advanced certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association or the occupational therapist registered (OTR) credential from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Pre-employment requirements: Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation. All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test. Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security card and driver's license), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
