Position Summary

The Night Shift Lead is responsible for helping run the restaurant during evening and closing hours. This person will lead the closing team, maintain BWW GO operational standards, keep the shift organized during busy periods, and make sure the restaurant is properly cleaned, stocked, and ready for the next day.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable leading others, and willing to work alongside the team rather than simply supervise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crew members during the night shift.

• Assign team members to stations and cleaning responsibilities.

• Make sure employees stay productive throughout the shift.

• Maintain fast and accurate order execution and guest service.

• Help keep ticket times under control during busy periods.

• Ensure wings, fries, sauces, and other products are prepared according to BWW GO standards.

• Monitor portioning, food quality, and waste.

• Make sure food safety, temperature, sanitizer, and cleanliness standards are followed.

• Keep the front counter, kitchen, shake station, fry area, walk-in cooler, freezer, bathrooms, and other assigned areas clean and organized.

• Verify that required closing cleaning is completed — not simply marked complete.

• Make sure the walk-in cooler and freezer are properly organized before leaving.

• Ensure bathrooms are cleaned every night.

• Make sure equipment and stations are properly cleaned and shut down.

• Complete closing checklist and confirm the restaurant is ready for the opening team.

• Help manage employee breaks and station coverage.

• Address minor employee or guest issues during the shift and communicate significant issues to management.

• Monitor employee attendance, lateness, uniforms, and compliance with restaurant policies.

• Help train new employees and reinforce proper procedures with existing team members.

• Communicate shortages, equipment problems, unusual waste, customer complaints, or operational issues to management.

• Lead by example and work wherever needed during the shift.

Expectations

The Night Shift Lead is accountable for the condition of the restaurant at the end of the shift. Before leaving, the store should be clean, organized, stocked, secured, and ready for the next day's opening team.

This is a hands-on leadership position. The Night Shift Lead is expected to set the standard for the rest of the closing team.
