Behavior Technician

Growth Mindset ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children and families throughout North County San Diego. We are currently growing our caseload in areas including: UTC / University City San Marcos Carlsbad Oceanside Whether you're already certified as an RBT or just getting started in the field, we're looking for compassionate, reliable people who enjoy working with children and want to make a real difference. Pay: $20.60-$26.60/hour, based on experience, education, certification, and relevant background. Additional benefits include: Paid drive time Paid training RBT certification support Opportunities for additional hours as caseloads grow Ongoing BCBA supervision and mentorship About the Role As a Behavior Technician, you'll work directly with children and families using evidence-based ABA strategies designed to help children develop important life skills. Responsibilities include: Providing 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community settings Implementing treatment plans developed by supervising BCBAs Supporting communication, social, emotional regulation, adaptive, and daily living skills Collecting session data and documenting progress Using positive reinforcement and evidence-based behavioral strategies Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and clinical supervisors Creating engaging, play-based learning experiences for children Every session is an opportunity to help a child build confidence, independence, and meaningful skills. No ABA Experience? That's okay. Many successful Behavior Technicians come from backgrounds such as: Nannying Teaching Special Education Coaching Camp Counseling Social Work Child Development If you enjoy working with children and are willing to learn, we'll provide the training and support needed to help you succeed. What We're Looking For We're looking for people who are: Reliable and professional Compassionate and patient Comfortable receiving feedback and learning new skillsMotivated to help children and families succeed Able to work independently while being part of a team Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Reliable transportation Valid driver's license and current auto insurance Ability to travel between client homes within approximately a 20-mile radius Ability to pass required background screening Preferred: Experience working with children Previous ABA experience Current RBT certification No certification is required to apply.
