Hourly Wage: $18.15 Now Hiring: Food Service Workers – part and full-time at Kansas City, MO VA Medical Center. Location: Kansas City, MO, VA Medical Center. Major Duties and Responsibilities Prepares a variety of beverages, including coffee, latte, cappuccino, smoothies. Prepares and assembles an assortment of food items such as breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, wraps, pancakes, burritos, and more. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of workplace and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards. Properly stores food to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage. Prepares foods per customer orders or supervisors’ instructions following approved procedures. Works in varying temperatures, including hot and cold. Performs other duties as assigned.
