Highway Project ManagerGFT is seeking a Highway Project Manager for our New Jersey offices. Join us to lead impactful projects that connect neighborhoods, promote economic growth, and create infrastructure that benefits everyone.In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Managing full project lifecycle including conceptual development through final design and construction supportSupervise engineering design tasks for roadway projects on both traditional design/bid/build and design/build contractsDevelop scopes of work and cost proposals, prepare progress reports, and manage budgets and schedulesDevelop plans, reports, specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packagesCoordinate with clients, subconsultants, and external stakeholdersManage projects and tasks with multi-disciplined teamsAssist in writing proposalsManage projects in accordance with GFT's Quality Management SystemFoster New Jersey client relationshipsWhat you'll bring to our firm:Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringLicensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, or eligible to obtain New Jersey PE licensure through reciprocity within 3 to 6 months.Minimum of 10+ years of related highway design experienceExposure to project management tasks, including preparing scope/fee, developing progress reports, and budget and schedule managementNew Jersey client, subconsultant, and external stakeholder relationshipsFamiliarity with AASHTO, NJDOT, and NJTA standardsHands on experience using the latest CADD/Design Software (OpenRoads or Civil 3D) requiredStrong written and oral communication skillsWriting samples may be requested for this position.Compensation:The range for this position is $130,000-$180,000.
