Maverick Currencies is hiring a Funded Forex Trader based in Anchorage, AK. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity — we fund qualified US traders with up to $400,000 in firm capital and split profits 60% to 90% depending on performance tier.

Alaska's position in the Pacific zone (with a one-hour offset much of the year) gives traders an unusual advantage: the New York session opens at 5:30am local, and by lunch the bulk of the high-volume day is done. • Run a defined trading system on Forex and Crypto using firm capital
• Stick to the rules — discretionary deviation is a primary failure mode we screen against
• Manage risk at the trade level (not just at the account level)

• Show up to coaching and contribute to community trade reviews

Compensation & Capital Disclosure

This role pays through profit-share, not salary. You trade firm capital and keep 60% to 90% of the returns you generate, based on your performance tier. Consistently profitable traders typically realize $50,000 to $200,000+ annually. The trade-off is explicit: there is no salary floor. If you are not profitable, you do not earn — the upside is that profitable traders are not capped.

Common Questions

Q: Is this work-from-home or hybrid?

A: It's fully remote. There is no office to come into, no required in-person time, and no geographic limits beyond being US-based. Plenty of our traders have never met the team in person — the work doesn't require it.

Q: What happens if I have a losing month?

A: Losing months happen to every trader, including the consistently profitable ones. Within the firm's risk framework you have room to recover; outside of it (i.e., if you blow risk rules) the account is paused for review. Discipline is what preserves the relationship.
