Position Title: MBSE Service Owner Location: Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL Relocation Assistance: None available at this time Remote/Telework: NO Clearance Type: DoD Secret Shift: Day shift Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time Job Summary You are a highly motivated and experienced MBSE Lead/Engineer tasked with delivering excellence in quality, operational, and reliability results across the MBSE suite of tools, including IBM ELM and Cameo/Teamwork Cloud. You will serve the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract, ensuring compliance, driving user adoption, and creating reusable MBSE standards. Responsibilities Provide visible and active leadership to achieve high quality, operational, and reliability results for MBSE tools and processes. Manage training processes for finished products, aligning them with MDA objectives and MBSE suite goals. Develop and maintain documentation such as SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and comprehensive training materials. Collaborate with project teams to understand current data model structures and develop reusable MBSE standard models. Contribute to the evolution and standardization of the MBSE environment. Support end‑user engagement, proactively seek feedback, and implement improvements to enhance user experience. Onboard and roll out new projects and tool implementations, define delivery schedules, identify training needs, and assess infrastructure impact. Seek and implement best practices through collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. Continuously evaluate and improve MBSE processes and tools. Design reports and metrics to assist documentation and compliance; provide data‑driven insights to improve process efficiency. Lead and deliver quality, operational, and reliability results. Qualifications Adapt quickly to new situations and changing priorities. Demonstrate strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving system requirements. Effectively de‑conflict competing requests and requirements. Work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail. Visible and active leadership in delivering quality, operational, and reliability results. 10 or more years of general full‑time work experience (may be reduced with advanced education). 5 or more years of directly related experience in Systems Engineering Service Ownership. 6 or more months of experience in a management or leadership role. Experience managing technical support with front‑end components of the MBSE Suite. Experience coordinating with and managing external vendors related to the MBSE Suite (ELM IBM, Dassault, Sodius, Atlassian). Strong customer‑focused interaction skills. Experience analyzing technical issues, providing recommendations, and contributing to solutions. Active DoD Secret Security Clearance. Desired Requirements Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+). Top Secret Clearance. Compensation $130,000 – $180,000 Actual compensation may vary based on responsibilities, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and relevant laws.
