Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred)
• Previous experience working with high school-aged students with varying exceptionalities
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
• Organizational skills to effectively manage caseload and documentation
• Enthusiasm for fostering student growth and adapting instruction based on individual needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and interventions for students with special needs in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Modify curriculum and teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
• Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
