Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse - PT Nights

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Responsibilities include: Promoting patient and family-centered care and educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Participating in activities to ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients. Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Ensuring communication of care plans across the continuum and working in a safety-sensitive environment. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum education: Nursing diploma or associate’s degree in nursing; bachelor’s preferred. Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Experience: No experience required; less than two years preferred. Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.
