Asian American Architects/Engineers Association Job Description / Primary Objective Some of the key responsibilities for this position include:

• Leading and managing water supply analyses pertaining to local and imported water, groundwater banking, water transfers, and demand management projects;
• Managing multiple projects within the scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables;
• Managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management;
• Effectively stewarding and building client relationships to repeat business;
• Developing business opportunities with new and existing clients and preparing associated proposals.

Requirements (Education, Level of Experience, etc.) Education and Licensure:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, water resources, environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, or another applicable related degree. [required]
• Advanced degree the same. [preferred]
• Professional registration (i.e., P.E. P.G.). [preferred]

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience in the water resources field in the United States, preferably in the Southwest U.S.; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. [required]
• Experience in water supply, water conservation, and analyses pertaining to local and imported water supply, groundwater banking, and demand management. [required]
• Experience managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management. [preferred]
• Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. [preferred]
• Ability and willingness to perform fieldwork and travel on a limited basis. [required]
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. [required]
