As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Specialist in Lees Summit, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, agile approach, work as part of a reliable team, and uphold integrity while helping create a welcoming environment throughout the facility.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, support visitor and staff screening practices when applicable, and document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
