Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite – 5 days/week)

Duration: 3 Months (Potential chance for extension after the budget approval)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, No OT

Pay Rate Range: $55 to $60/hr

Mandatory Requirements

• Professional experience with Windows drivers or system software
• Proven experience in kernel debugging and dump analysis
• Experience supporting release quality and validation
• Ability to work across hardware and firmware boundaries
• Strong collaboration and ownership mindset

Disqualifiers

• Hands-on Windows driver development
• Kernel debugging experience

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Hands-on Windows driver or system software development
• Experience with kernel debugging and dump analysis
• Experience validating releases using HLK and LKG processes
• Strong debugging capabilities across OS, firmware, and hardware layers

Highly Desired Experience

• HLK testing and driver signing
• Driver release pipelines
• Telemetry, diagnostics, and automation tooling
• Secure driver design practices
• Device bring-up or early hardware validation

Top 3 Must-Have Skills (8–10 years' experience required in each)

1. Driver/System Delivery
   • Experience shipping or sustaining Windows drivers/services
   • Strong understanding of system integration and release processes
2. Debugging Expertise
   • Kernel debugging
   • Dump analysis
   • Hardware interaction debugging
3. Quality Discipline
   • Experience working with quality gates
   • Knowledge of LKG pass rate and automation coverage
