Job Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: LTAC / Long-Term Acute Care Employment Type: Travel Nursing Setting: Long-term acute care / rehabilitation-focused environment Shift: 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week: 36 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP Openings: 2 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,860 - $1,960 Location: Alexandria, Virginia Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license or eligibility to practice as an RN in Virginia Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience BLS certification required prior to first shift ACLS certification required prior to first shift Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative interdisciplinary care team Experience supporting rehabilitative, med-surg, or long-term acute care patients preferred Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to assigned LTAC patients Complete timely nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the care team Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly Support discharge planning, patient teaching, and continuity of care from admission through discharge Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members Supervise and delegate appropriately to LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff Promote a safe, organized, and positive care environment for patients and staff Contribute to a patient-centered rehabilitation approach focused on quality outcomes Why This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
