Dental Assistant

Schedule: Flexible, Full time hours (4 day work week - Mon- Thurs or Tues- Fri)


Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 2 plus years of experience working as a Dental Assistant required
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: EFDA Certication required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Denticon is preferred but not required.
