Neurosurgeon

Responsibilities Henry Ford Health-employed neurosurgery opportunity with responsibility to the Joint Operating Committee (JOC) governing the Neuroscience service line under the scope of the Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) between Henry Ford Health and Covenant HealthCare. Opportunity for a lead role. Call coverage Q5. Potential teaching and academic appointment with Michigan State University. Perform a wide range of neurosurgical procedures including cranial and spinal surgeries. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, neurointerventional radiologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care. Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as MRIs, CT scans, and angiograms to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Provide consultations, assessments, and follow‑up care for patients in outpatient clinics and inpatient settings. Participate in teaching and mentoring activities for medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications ABNS Board Certified in Neurosurgery (open to new graduates).
