Data Engineering Lead Program Manager (Banking Data)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience, or equivalent expertise, in technical program management, leading complex technology initiatives in a large organization
• Advanced stakeholder-management skills, including building effective relationships and influencing decisions across cross-functional teams and clients
• Knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and ETL
• Understanding of data management and data governance processes and tools
• Experience using technical knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relationships to support shared applications and services
• Proven ability to manage resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills, including breaking down business, technical, and operational objectives into actionable tasks
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI tools in program management workflows, with careful output validation and awareness of data sensitivity
• Ability to review AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalate uncertainty, and follow data-handling expectations
• Financial services experience is preferred

• Create and deliver project plans that account for technical needs, resources, and schedules to support timely delivery of technology solutions
• Apply knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, ETL, data management, and governance to lead data engineering programs
• Identify and reduce risks, address potential blockers, and develop contingency plans to keep projects and programs moving forward
• Work with engineering, product, business, and other stakeholders to define program scope, goals, and deliverables in line with business priorities
• Analyze program performance, identify opportunities to improve, and implement data-informed changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support program planning and risk synthesis, validate generated outputs, and handle information according to its sensitivity
• Encourage reusable, AI-assisted approaches to program governance and reporting, with human review and adherence to delivery standards
• Promote agile methods, technical solutions, continuous learning, and innovation across the team
• Contribute technical leadership to complex projects, manage resources and budgets, and support operational planning and risk management
