J.B. Hunt is Now Hiring Local CDL-A Drivers in Southern California Earn $70,000 - $81,000 per Year* - Local Routes, Home Daily Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $70,000 - $81,000 per year*.
Top Pay & Benefits:
- Earn $18.00 per hour
- Holiday pay: $220-$230 per day*
- Additional earnings through automatically applied eligible activities*
- Additional earnings through manually entered & manager approved eligible activities*
- Local routes, home daily
- Paid online orientations
- Paid time off
*Depending on location. Annual pay estimates include hourly plus automatically applied eligible activities and manually entered & manager approved eligible activities. Speak to recruiter for details.
Qualifications:- CDL Class A License
- At least 3 months of driving experience, but more might be required depending on the job
- At least 21 years of age

In addition to the number of activities completed, factors which may affect annualized earnings include training completed, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment type and number of days worked each week. Hunt offers the following benefits for full-time positions, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, as may be in effect from time to time: medical benefit, dental benefit, vision benefit, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, paid time off commensurate with tenure (includes vacation and sick time), two weeks of paid parental leave, and six days with holiday pay. Conditional job offer is subject to results of criminal background check. Qualified candidates with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, the Prince George's County, MD, Fair Criminal Record Screening Standards, and all other applicable federal, state, and county regulations and ordinances. Specific job duties may vary and are subject to change. Duties may include, and are not limited to, the following: frequent contact with customer employees, contact with the motoring public at fuel stations and rest stops and entering private consumer dwellings to make deliveries.
