Accounting AssistantWe are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team.Accounting Assistant responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices. If you are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we'd like to meet you.Responsibilities:Reconcile invoices and identify discrepanciesCreate and update expense reportsProcess reimbursement formsPrepare bank depositsEnter financial transactions into internal databasesCheck spreadsheets for accuracyMonitoring daily communications and answering any queries.Maintain digital and physical financial recordsIssue invoices to customers and external partners, as neededParticipate in quarterly and annual auditsFilingScanning and archivingRequirements and skills:Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errorsHands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)Organization skillsAbility to handle sensitive, confidential informationEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
