Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurosurgical & Surgical UnitThis is a 13-week contract position.12-hour day shifts with a commitment of a minimum of every other weekend, adjustable based on unit needs.The medical-surgical registered nurse (RN) will provide care on the M5/McClure 5 neurosurgical & surgical unit. The RN must have prior travel experience in large teaching facilities and be prepared to adapt their schedule to meet unit and patient care requirements.Deliver high-quality patient care to neurosurgical and surgical patients.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided in the electronic health record (Epic).Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.Participate in bi-weekly orientations and continuing education opportunities.Must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing unit experience.AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required.NIHSS certification required prior to start date.Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required.Reliable transportation is essential as public transportation is not accessible in this area.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
