Position Overview Veterinary Specialty Center of Sarasota is looking for a full‑time Small Animal Surgeon (or Surgical Resident completing a surgery residency) to join our specialty team. Key Resources Advanced surgical equipment: arthroscopy, laparoscopy (with ICG dye), nanoscope, flexible scopes, 16‑slice Toshiba Aquilion CT with power contrast injector, intraoperative fluoroscopy, MRI access, advanced surgical implants and instruments (Harmonic Scalpel, Ligasure, Arthrex, locking implants), on‑site 3D printing, diode laser, and comprehensive anesthesia and analgesia techniques Robust support system including skilled technicians, client service team members, surgical interns, and specialists in rehabilitation, cardiology, radiology and more services to come Collaborative work environment with an established case load and mentorship opportunities Opportunity to pioneer a joint replacement program for those interested Candidate Profile We seek a passionate candidate who prioritizes patient care and is eager to refine their skills in a dynamic and enjoyable team setting.
