Senior Tax Planner

Company Overview:

A cutting-edge WealthTech firm is on a mission to redefine wealth management by leveraging technology to provide fast, accurate financial insights. They are seeking a Tax Planning Specialist to join their dynamic team and help optimize tax strategies for clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create comprehensive income tax projections for members to understand future tax obligations.
• Develop detailed tax projections and conduct scenario analysis for financial decisions.
• Identify and rectify instances of under-withholding or over-withholding of taxes.
• Assist clients with quarterly estimated tax payments and advise on IRS Safe Harbor rules.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning to minimize liabilities and maximize benefits.
• Advise on tax-efficient retirement savings, charitable giving, education savings, and stock options.
• Provide tax planning for real property investments and state and local tax optimization.
• Manage international tax issues and estate and gift tax planning.
• Conduct thorough reviews of individual tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain detailed tax records and documentation, and assist with tax audits.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent (EA), or equivalent tax expertise required.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in tax planning and tax return review.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax software and financial analysis tools.

Compensation:

Salary: $180,000 - $225,000, Plus Equity
