Crosspoint Group is partnering with a well established manufacturing organization in Houston to find an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a busy production environment.

We're open to candidates with a strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance background. Experience maintaining CNC machinery is highly preferred, but strong industrial maintenance experience with other manufacturing equipment will also be considered.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain manufacturing equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines and related production equipment
• Work with motors, drives, sensors, controls, pumps, bearings and other mechanical components
• Read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and equipment documentation
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and identify root causes
• Document maintenance activities and follow established safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with industrial machinery and production equipment
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and basic electrical testing equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

CNC Experience Preferred - experience maintaining CNC machines, machining centers, lathes, mills or related equipment is a strong plus.
