Overview of the Team

The Global Talent Acquisition team is a globally connected, delivery-focused function committed to securing exceptional talent for IPC. We combine the discipline and market insight of executive search with the agility, collaboration, and practical mindset of an in-house team.

This individual will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent while helping us build world-class teams. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable challenging convention, and is relentless in the pursuit of exceptional talent. As part of our dynamic and fast-moving Talent Acquisition team, you will partner closely with hiring managers, senior leaders and at time Executives to identify and attract top talent. You will use advanced tools, market research, and sourcing methodologies to generate insights, build talent pipelines, and guide hiring strategies.

Role Overview

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for partnering effectively with hiring managers and Global People Partners at the most senior levels to develop and execute recruiting strategies that directly support business objectives and attract exceptional talent. Success in this role requires executive presence, outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, a well-developed network of talent across the New York City market, and proven experience recruiting within capital markets, fintech, and other complex, high-growth environments.

You will own the end-to-end recruitment process and develop a strong understanding of IPC's business, culture, and available talent pools across a wide range of positions.

The person in this role will have exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills, combined with strong attention to detail and follow-through. You will be passionate about attracting high-quality talent and motivated to design and execute creative talent acquisition strategies.

How You Will Make an Impact

Act with urgency: Partner with hiring management teams to understand strategic workforce requirements and deliver relevant talent research, market insights, and recruitment solutions.

Research with precision: Build detailed talent maps, conduct market research, and identify high-potential candidates across multiple business functions and geographies. Use a wide range of sourcing tools beyond LinkedIn, including web searches, industry reports, professional networks, conferences, and relevant market intelligence.

Solve problems proactively: Take ownership when challenges arise and act quickly to resolve them, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.

Generate actionable insights: Use data and market intelligence to inform search strategies and advise Talent Acquisition colleagues and hiring managers on talent availability, competitor activity, and relevant market trends.

Think analytically: Approach challenges with logic, precision, and creativity. Use available data to assess options, measure progress, and support informed decision-making.

Learn and iterate: Remain open to feedback, acknowledge mistakes, and continuously improve your approach to achieve stronger outcomes.

Be a talent market advisor: Share insights and emerging trends with stakeholders to help shape hiring strategies and influence key talent decisions.

Use recruitment data effectively: Monitor and analyze key recruitment metrics, including pipeline strength, time-to-fill, and quality of hire, to identify trends, optimize strategies, and drive continuous improvement.

Support team capability: Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to junior Talent Acquisition team members, fostering a high-performance culture and consistently raising the bar across sourcing, candidate experience, and hiring manager engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own and nurture stakeholder relationships across the Americas, while supporting additional global hiring requirements when needed.
  • Manage dynamic talent pipelines and lead end-to-end recruitment across a diverse range of functions, including Commercial, Finance, Marketing, People, Legal, Operations, and Engineering.
  • Partner with business leaders to define hiring strategies, meet recruitment targets, and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Develop and implement creative approaches to attract and engage both active and passive candidates.
  • Provide hiring managers with market intelligence, talent availability insights, and recommendations that support realistic and effective hiring decisions.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with candidates, hiring managers, People Partners, and other stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure recruitment activities are conducted consistently and in accordance with IPC's recruitment processes and applicable requirements.
  • Play a key role in strengthening IPC's recruiting function by introducing innovative practices and scalable processes and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Represent IPC Systems with professionalism, integrity, and authenticity.

Essential Skills and Experience to Be Successful in This Role

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 6+ years of professional recruitment experience, including significant experience within an executive search firm and direct recruitment experience within the fintech industry.
  • Proven ability to proactively lead the recruitment process by engaging hiring managers and coordinating the required resources.
  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from intake and sourcing through candidate assessment, selection, offer management, and onboarding handover.
  • Passion for solving complex talent challenges and an eagerness to explore new and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Experience recruiting for mid-level and senior-level positions.
  • Ability to coach and guide hiring managers, including having constructive and difficult conversations when necessary to keep the recruitment process compliant, effective, and on track.
  • Ability to work effectively with changing requirements and senior stakeholders, with gravitas, humility, and partnership at the core.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and work independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate recruitment data and talent market information into practical recommendations.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a global and cross-functional working environment.

We spend approximately 60% of our time in the office and 40% working remotely. Some employees may be required to work from the office or client sites more than 60% of the time when required by their role or client needs.
