Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The position involves providing high-quality patient care on the medical-surgical floor. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals. The unit comprises 34 beds and employs a mix of RNs, CNAs, and support staff. Patient ratios during the day shift are between 4 to 6 patients per RN. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs and responding to changes in acuity. Telemetry rhythm expertise and critical thinking skills are essential for this role. Effective time management and communication skills are required. You will perform typical procedures such as administering IV fluids, tube feeds, and IV antibiotics. Successful candidates will demonstrate teamwork and a willingness to assist colleagues. Floating to other medical-surgical units may be required occasionally. You must adhere to established guidelines and policies, including attending team huddles. Weekend shifts are part of the schedule, with a commitment to every other weekend.
