Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Assist with bronchoscopy and extubation procedures in the NICU.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate patient records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate effectively with families and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Current RRT certification and licensure as a South Carolina RCP.
• Minimum of 2 years of neonatal and pediatric respiratory care experience.
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care standards and practices.
• Prior experience with Epic charting system is advantageous.
