Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience in Genomic Epidemiology and Advanced Molecular Diagnostics (AMD).
- Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and communicable disease surveillance platforms.
- Experience with SQL and Linux computing infrastructure for genomic data management.
- Experience in standard AMD software packages and bioinformatic tool integration.
- Experience with healthcare data security protocols and system interoperability standards.
- Experience in designing technical assessments and strategic modernization roadmaps.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing laboratory and epidemiology technology stacks to identify operational gaps.
- Architect a strategic roadmap for genomic technology adoption and system scaling.
- Develop a phased implementation plan for advanced molecular diagnostic capabilities.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to evaluate SQL and Linux platform performance.
- Translate requirements from laboratory and informatics staff into technical solutions.
- Enforce compliance with data security and technical interoperability standards.
- Lead cross-functional work sessions to define project vision and future-state design.
