We work across a variety of different industries and we are one of the global leaders in our space that is constantly innovating and working with the latest technologies.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Signal Processing Engineer to lead the design, simulation, and implementation of advanced signal-processing solutions for sensor and acquisition systems. This role focuses on developing and validating signal chains using simulation and mixed-fidelity modeling, translating algorithms to embedded and real-time platforms, and working closely with hardware and software teams to deliver integrated solutions. The ideal candidate has deep experience in signal processing and simulation, strong practical skills with MATLAB/Simulink and Python, and a track record of delivering robust, tested signal-processing systems in complex environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and optimization of signal-processing algorithms to meet system-level requirements for sensors and acquisition chains.Create and execute high-fidelity and mixed-fidelity simulations to predict system performance, iterate on designs, and guide trade studies.Develop models of sensors, front-end electronics, and signal chains, and maintain model libraries for reuse across projects.Prototype and validate algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink and Python, and translate validated algorithms to embedded/DSP targets for real-time operation.Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to integrate algorithms with sensor hardware and embedded platforms, ensuring end-to-end system performance.Design and run tests for signal acquisition, calibration, and system verification; analyze results and refine models/algorithms accordingly.Drive verification and validation activities including unit tests, system-in-the-loop tests, and performance characterization under realistic operating conditions.Document designs, assumptions, simulation setups, and test plans; produce technical reports and present results to stakeholders and program managers.Mentor junior engineers, provide technical leadership during design reviews, and support cross-functional decision making.Support programs that require security clearances by following secure engineering practices and participating in program-specific processes.QualificationsBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Applied Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field required; Masters or PhD preferred.Minimum 7 years of professional experience in signal processing with demonstrated experience in simulation-driven design and verification.Must have strong skills in Signal Processing and Simulation (modeling of signals, noise, and system behavior).Proven experience with MATLAB and Simulink for algorithm development and system simulation; proficient in Python for data analysis and scripting.Experience with digital signal processing (DSP), algorithm optimization for embedded targets, and familiarity with DSP toolchains.Hands-on experience with sensors, signal acquisition hardware, front-end electronics, and end-to-end signal chains.Experience integrating software and hardware: implementing algorithms on embedded processors, working with firmware, and performing system-level integration.Experience with mixed-fidelity modeling and physics-based simulations to connect component-level behavior to system performance.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills; ability to design experiments and interpret empirical results.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience preparing technical documentation and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.Prior experience on classified or sensitive programs is a plus; ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret / SCI clearance preferred.BenefitsMedicalDentalVisionPTO401k w/ matchPotential for RSUs
