Orthotic Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthotic Fitter to join our team in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will have clinical experience and a strong background in patient care, with expertise in fitting Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and orthoses devices. This role requires a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure accurate and effective patient treatment. Key Responsibilities Fit and adjust orthotic devices and DME to meet individual patient needs. Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate orthotic solutions. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans. Provide patient education on the use and care of orthotic devices. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards. Ensure all devices meet quality and safety standards. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients, employees, and the public. Required Skills and Qualifications Clinical experience in orthotics, prosthetics, or related medical fields. Experience fitting Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or orthotic devices. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients, employees, and the public. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education and Experience Relevant clinical training or certification in orthotics or related healthcare field preferred. Prior experience in a medical or clinical setting involving DME or orthotic fitting is highly desirable.
