Actuarial Analyst

Reports to: Vice President / Senior Vice President / Executive Vice President About the role Join the BMS Re Actuarial Services team as Actuarial Analyst, supporting actuarial analytics for clients seeking reinsurance and advisory services. In this role, you will develop foundational technical skills and actuarial capabilities while progressing through your actuarial education requirements. Through on the job learning and coaching from team members, you will establish your actuarial career and grow your (re)insurance industry knowledge in dynamic, client-focused environment. BMS will support your actuarial education journey with study time, resources, and compensation incentives through our competitive BMS US Actuarial Education Program. Basic Qualifications Successful completion of one actuarial exam, and Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Qualifications Successful completion of two or more actuarial exams Previous actuarial internship or related experience Desire to learn about the Property & Casualty Insurance industry with a focus in Reinsurance Ability to analyze data and offer insight to non-technical stakeholders Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with Microsoft Office, knowledge of statistical analysis software, and/or programming languages such as SQL, VBA, R, or Python Dedication to the Casualty Actuarial Society accreditation process with a goal of obtaining both the ACAS and FCAS Personally demonstrate the five BMS values and ensure that team members are aligned with these: #J-18808-Ljbffr BMS Group
