DATA ANALYST

Summary:

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position provides analysis of quality data generated by the Department and Divisions using a variety of systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

1. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or discipline is required.


2. A Master's degree is preferred.

ESSENTIAL:

1. This position requires compliance with the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act, 25 U.S. C. Part 3207 (c) and shall be subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.

2. Valid driver's license, dependable transportation and proper insurance are preferred.

3. Maintains strict confidentiality.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Four (4) years of increasingly responsible and complex data analysis experience.

2. Additional years of related data experience are preferred from any field where the experience involved effective use of human relations skills in a technical and/or analytical environment.

3. Experience in applied statistics, including regressions, forecasting and value-added analysis.

4. Experience with performing statistical significance tests is preferred.

5. Experience in data analysis and problem solving with large amounts of data.

6. Experience using spreadsheets to conduct trend analyses.
