Infrastructure Vulnerability Remediation Engineer (BH-109378) Location: Chandler, United States Sector: IT Salary: $58.00 to $60.00 per hour Job Title: Infrastructure Vulnerability Remediation Engineer Duration: Contract 12-18 months Location: Chandler, AZ Required Pay Scale: $58-60/hr Eligibility: USC or GC candidates only Employment Type: W2 ONLY, NO C2C Job Summary: We are seeking a Technology Infrastructure Vulnerability Remediation Coordinator to support the Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) organization. This role is responsible for coordinating infrastructure vulnerability remediation efforts, managing infrastructure lifecycle initiatives, and supporting the implementation of new technologies across the Application and Database Services (ADS) organization. This is an ongoing infrastructure modernization and lifecycle management initiative focused on reducing technical debt, remediating infrastructure vulnerabilities, supporting end‑of‑life/end‑of‑support transitions, and implementing new infrastructure solutions. The role will partner closely with networking, datacenter, storage, security, and engineering teams to design and coordinate infrastructure changes across on‑premises and hybrid environments. Must Have Requirements Experience coordinating infrastructure vulnerability remediation efforts, including identification, prioritization, tracking, and resolution of security findings Strong understanding of infrastructure lifecycle management, including aged infrastructure replacement and technical debt reduction Experience supporting infrastructure hardening, security controls, and risk mitigation initiatives Knowledge of networking technologies including routing, firewalls, and load balancers Understanding of compute platforms, including physical and virtual server environments Knowledge of storage technologies, including NAS and SAN solutions Experience leading infrastructure deployment, migration, upgrade, or remediation projects Strong project coordination skills with the ability to track deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and risks Experience executing infrastructure changes within controlled change management processes Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution skills during infrastructure implementations PowerShell experience Desired Skills Cloud exposure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments Automation and scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar tools Experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift ITIL certification or infrastructure/architecture-related certifications Experience working with hybrid infrastructure environments Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills Experience working directly with infrastructure engineering teams and third‑party vendors Benefits Health, vision, and dental insurance (single and family coverage) 401(k) plan (employee contributions only) Matlen Silver is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, the presence of a non‑job‑related medical condition or disability, or any other legally protected status.
