Radiology - CT Tech

Computed Tomography Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM, Wednesday to Friday.

Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Chief Radiologist, the Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing CT exams. This role involves the use of CT equipment, maintaining accurate records pertaining to CT, stocking supplies, and organizing the schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during CT exams.
• Utilize CT equipment effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain and update records related to CT procedures.
• Stock supplies as needed for the smooth operation of the department.
• Organize and manage scheduling for CT exams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2+ years of current CT and X-Ray experience in a hospital setting - REQUIRED
• Experience with Canon Aquillion PrimeSP - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Travel experience - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• ARRT certification and BLS (AHA) certification - NEEDED. Must be willing to obtain if not active at the time of submission.
• 2 supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment - REQUIRED
