Overview Position: RN Surgery Circulator Shift's Available: Days Employment Type: Full Time Hours: 8-hour shifts Location: Harlingen Medical Center - Harlingen, Texas Responsibilities Prepare the operating room, ensure the cleanliness of the environment, and confirm that all required equipment is functioning properly Assist in preparing the patient for surgery, which may involve verifying the patient's identity and surgical site, helping to position the patient on the operating table, and ensuring that all necessary pre-operative procedures are completed Document pertinent information before, during, and after the surgical procedure, such as the patient's vital signs, medications administered, and any other relevant details for the patient's medical record Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room by adhering to strict infection control protocols and ensure that all team members follow proper procedures for handling instruments and equipment Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room by adhering to strict infection control protocols and ensure that all team members follow proper procedures for handling instruments and equipment Qualifications Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
