Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: Cumberland Valley, MD Employer: All Medical Personnel Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Urgent Care Clinician (Physician or Nurse Practitioner) | Maryland Location: Maryland Schedule: Ongoing PRN shifts. Typical shift is 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Minimum commitment of 6 to 8 shifts per month. Openings: 1 Position Overview Urgent care coverage with a solo provider model supported by medical assistants (some sites may also have nursing support). Providers must be willing to float within the region as needed to cover clinics. Clinical Details Setting: Urgent Care Typical cases include physicals and common urgent care procedures such as incision and drainage, suturing, digital blocks, pelvic exams, nail procedures, burn care, fluorescein exams, joint reduction, EKG interpretation, and radiology interpretation. Ages seen: 2 years and older. EMR: Experity (Velocidoc). Required Qualifications Physician (Family Practice) or Nurse Practitioner (Family) with urgent care experience. Board certification or national certification as applicable. DEA required. NPDB self query required. Clean background and clean NPDB history required. Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify. Travel and Lodging Travel and lodging support may be available for consecutive work days. Mileage support may be available based on distance. Onboarding Onboarding and credentialing timeline is typically about one week, plus an in clinic paid shadow shift.
