We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role will involve leading the end-to-end implementation of new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) modules and components, coordinating multiple vendors and state teams, managing project schedules, budgets, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communications. The ideal candidate will have experience in technology project management, healthcare or state government environments, Medicaid systems, data conversion, and enterprise system implementations , with strong communication and organizational skills.

Location: Boise, Idaho 83702(Hybrid 2-3 days/week onsite)

\n

Duration: 12Months+ Contract

Job Description:

\n

\n
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) modules and components.
\n
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, implementation plans, critical path, and risk mitigation strategies .
\n
• Coordinate multiple vendors, project managers, state teams, and project resources through planning, implementation, go-live, and certification.
\n
• Establish and maintain a master project schedule and governance framework to track risks, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
\n
• Ensure project deliverables and the end product meet defined requirements, including Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) objectives.
\n
• Monitor project progress, identify issues and dependencies early, and adjust plans as needed to maintain project success.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 5+ years of project management experience in technology projects within healthcare or state government environments.
\n
• Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, milestones, dependencies, and the critical path for project success.
\n
• Experience gathering requirements and prioritizing data aggregation, analytics, and report development .
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and escalate issues early.
\n
• Ability to identify key stakeholders, decision makers, project partners, and organizational dependencies.
\n
• Experience managing multiple teams, vendors, and workstreams simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Idaho state agencies .
\n
• Experience working with state Medicaid agencies .
\n
• Experience with legacy system-to-new system conversion and data migration .
\n
• Experience with change management, training coordination, and stakeholder communications .
\n
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise system implementations and go-live activities.
\n
