Data Migration Specialist

Top 3 requirements:

• Good understanding of finance data models
• Experience of ERP systems, SAP preferred
• 5 years data migration experience
• Ability to interrogate DBs

1. Interview process (how many rounds, who is involved?): 1-2 rounds with HM

The purpose of this role is to manage / support the data migration activities to SAP S/4HANA across the General Ledger and sub-ledgers in scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the implementation team to understand the data requirements to migrate to SAP S/4HANA
• Engage with IT to define the data migration mechanism requirements
• Engage with the source data providers to explain the information required and source the base data
• Define transformation requirements to convert the source data to the data migration template requirements
• Perform the transformation activities (if required) during build and go-live
• To maintain compliance with any applicable UK or International statutory or regulatory obligation as required by the role. This includes but not limited to obligations arising from:
• The prudent management of the business.
• Placing due regard on the interests of customers.
• Observing rules on Sanctions and financial crime.
• Regulatory requirements and local licensing restrictions.

Skills / Knowledge / Ability

• Experience of manipulating data in Excel at a minimum
