Hiring Agency: United States Space Force Key Responsibilities Installs, repairs or replaces, modifies, loads, and tests new and existing electrical lines, circuits,systems, fixtures,panels, switches, breakers, and controls located in and near installation buildings and structures associated with test cell facilities in direct support of National Defense programs and equipment. Maintains and installs secondary switch gear, Uninterruptible Power Source (UPS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) Systems and associated batteries, distribution lines, 2000 kVA (Kilo Volt Amperes) and larger electrical load centers providing technical and utility power. Troubleshoots problem areas and specialized equipment test cells by inspecting for defective equipment and faulty wiring. Works from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and maintenance and repair manuals to determine the necessary and proper repairs and/or replacements. Uses and maintains various types of hand and/or power tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, soldering irons, cable pullers, hydraulic benders, and pipe threading machines. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment. Which agency is hiring for this position?
